Moving...
to San Francisco at the end of next month.
A little Prosecco makes the packing go faster. We still need to find an apartment, etc. So if you’re reading this and live in SF, drop me a note at kamico [at] hotmail.com
Cheers!

back from miami
When I planned a short trip to Miami I thought it would be a spa like vacation with some light food and a little sun. I did get some sun, but instead of a low-carb diet I enjoyed potato pancakes, fried chicken and fried plantains. At least I made it to the gym.

girly accoutrements
In the process of holiday shopping I managed to pick up a few new accessories for myself, including my new favorite lip gloss from Cargo and even a new fragrance from Sage Jewelry.

baking
Added recipe for pumpkin chocolate chip cookies over at Offbeat Eating.
I’m going to try to make Liege waffles tomorrow if I have enough time. The recipe comes from the Everybody Eats Well in Belgium cookbook. I had been meaning to make these waffles since I received this cookbook last year, but like so many other things, had a million other things on my to-do list. But when I spotted pearl sugar on my last trip to Ikea, I knew it was time to push ‘baking’ further to the top of the list.

I ordered some new cookie cutters—fall themed, an acorn, a squirrel and an oak leaf. Hopefully they’ll arrive this week and and I can start making the cookies for thanksgiving next weekend.
