I tend to go a little crazy with those after holiday candy sales, and had a stash of Necco hearts left over. The idea for this is pretty similar to the marble magnets, but with candy instead.
What's Needed:
Hard candy such as Necco hearts
Thumbtacks
Thick glue or Silicone Sealer (Super Glue won't work)
Clear acrylic spray
Line up the candies and spray first side with clear acrylic. Let dry about 20 minutes and spray other side. Spray both sides 2-3 times to ensure the surface is completely sealed.
After the candies are dry (about an hour or two) use a toothpick to apply dab of glue to back.
Place thumbtack on glue and press gently until the tack is secure. Let dry several hours before using.
